Chandra Marpaung

Chandra is the founder and managing partner of Chandra Marpaung & Partners (CMP). He obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Bangka Belitung, and obtained his Master of Laws degree from Gadjah Mada University.

Before establishing Chandra Marpaung & Partners, Chandra had previous experience of practicing law at other leading law firms in Indonesia. He has been involved in all corporation and commercial practices including mergers and acquisitions and corporate dispute resolution.

Together with CMP, Chandra has worked with many clients from various business and industry sectors. His experience in handling commercial legal disputes related to civil, corporate, shipping, mining, bankruptcy and Delays in Debt Repayment Obligations, health, land and property, labor, consumer protection and penal code. Alternative dispute resolution outside the court and arbitration are his specialties.

• Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI)
• Curators and Administrators from Indonesia Receiver and Administrator for Bankruptcy Association (AKPI) registered with the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of The Republic of Indonesia.
